The sun is setting on all the summer activities and the normal routines of school and work are being reestablished for most of us. These last few months have been a bit slow here at Etwene but we are gaining momentum and trying to get some things started.
We have found a young man that has agreed to begin as a hired mentor for us on a part-time basis. We are currently praying about our first potential student and excited to see what God will do in the next few months. Melinda Menning, Executive director, will be traveling to Ghana for the month of October. We hope to have some meetings scheduled with a few churches, and foundations there. She will also meet with staff there for some training and vision building. If you would like to donate any old phones, USB drives, SD cards, earbuds, tablets, jewelry, or any other light weight items young adults may enjoy or could use please contact us! We will use these things as gifts or for needs of young adults there.
Please be praying that God will clearly show us who our first student should be and how we can best help them. Pray that we can make more connections here and in Ghana that will. partner with us. We need you to keep sharing about Etwene! Share our blog post through social media, ask friends to simply register to our site, tell us if you have any churches, businesses, etc... that we could contact and share our vision with. Every little bit helps and we are so grateful for anyway you can support us in these ways!
