It only takes a spark!

Fire, it is a force of nature that we marvel at! It is essential for our lives for warmth, cooking, and purifying, and yet if it is not controlled or contained properly it is destructive and terrifying. In Hebrews12:28-29 we read that we, through gratitude, may offer to Him an acceptable service because God is a consuming fire. We want to be serving the Lord through hearts of gratitude and allow God to consume, refine, grow and use us for His good purposes!

Here at Etwene, God has set a spark and we are watching Him fan it into a small flame that we pray will shine in the hearts of our staff and students in all they do. We are praying that God will use Etwene to spark and grow the faith of our students as well as our supporters as we watch God ignite His purposes for Etwene as a ministry and in each life that is involved, from our students to our prayer and financial supporters. Thank you all for being part of this journey and helping us blaze new trails.

This week Ernest was accepted into a 1 year practical electrical training program. He hopefully will NOT be experiencing to many uncontrollable sparks in this new endeavor!! Please pray for him as he prepares to start classes in May. He will need to get supplies and wrap up somethings at the job he currently has in the next month.

We are also looking for a 1 room apartment that both Kojo and Ernest will be able to live in together. Please pray for us to find a safe place in a good central location for them both. We will be needing to furnish the apartment with living basics; mattresses, small gas stove, small fridge, pots/pans, cooking utensils etc... Please pray about helping us with some extra financial support so we can get the boys started well!!! We are excited for them to have secure place to live and start their new journeys!

How can you show your Gratitude to the Lord through your acceptable service so that His consuming fire is ignited for good, refining, and beneficial purposes in your life and those around you today? It only takes a spark! You can be the spark that ignites a blaze for Jesus today! Each of you that prays, gives, shares, supports, reposts, or directly interacts with our students in anyway is a spark that God is fanning into flame to refine, renew, redirect, and reignite lives and build brighter futures!!
