While we here in the U.S. were celebrating Thanksgiving and eating turkey our young men were celebrating Yaw and Edmund's birthdays with pizza and KFC (yes they have that and it is a special treat there)! We want these young men to feel cherished and know that they are loved and worth celebrating. It is a joy to see these young men becoming more like brothers and family as they live life together.
As we all enter Advent and begin to prepare our hearts for celebrating the birth of our Savior, we pray for each of our students and our supporters to have an encounter with the Emmanuel and know Him in a deeply personal and unique way.
If you would like to help us meet our end of the year giving goals please pray about becoming a monthly donor. We are seeking to add 10 more monthly donors even just $10/month before the end of the year. These monthly donors are what allow us to care for the unexpected things in life that happen like broken stoves or doctors/dentist appointments that are suddenly needed. Recently one of the boys needed to have a tooth extracted, it is these monthly donations that provide for those "life happens" moments.
