"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven"
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Seasons are a time of change, something new, a period of growth, or a the hard task of letting something go. Depending on where you live you may have 4 distinct unique and beautiful seasons. Here in Texas we basically have cool, warm, hot and inferno! In Ghana they have 2 seasons, wet and dry. Currently they are entering their rainy season, it is a little cooler and everything gets green and is growing nicely. God has seasons in our lives also, times to grow and be fruitful, times of pruning and cutting things off, and times that we may feel dormant or stagnant. He uses all of these seasons to shape us and make us useable and fruitful.
This next month of July Etwene will have a season of fundraising and what we hope will be a time of growth! Our prayer is that God will touch hearts to give in prayer and finances. This season of trusting God to be our provider and humbly asking you to partner with us can be exciting and it requires us to be bold to share our needs, wants and dreams with you all. Currently we have 2 students, they are both navigating new courses they are starting or about to start, as well as learning how to budget, cook, and grow in their relationship with Christ. We will be sharing things over this next month about how God is working in their lives and using your support to do it!!!
Our hope is that we will be able to start 1-2 more students by the end of the year. This will require not only enough monthly support for the new students stipends but also to rent and furnish another apartment. It take approximately $200/month for each student to have there needs met. It cost about $3000 to get an apartment rented for a year and furnished. Will you join us in prayer for God to open the flood gates during this month of July? Can you pray about if He is calling you to give even $10/month to help meet these needs and goals?
