These boots are made for...???

"I measure your health by the number of shoes and hats and clothes you have worn out".

Ralph Waldo Emerson

If this is quote is accurate then Ernest is a very healthy young man! This last week I got a message from Akolgo it was a picture of Ernest boots that we just bought him for this electrical school. In less than a month they have been completely worn! My first thought as I looked at this picture was concern....was he electrocuted?!? The bottoms looked like they had exploded! Thank God, Ernest is completely fine...it is just his boots that have suffered.

This is just one example of some of the constant needs and challenges in the African environment and the quality of products being a little less. Things tend to wear down quickly or "spoil" in a short period of time. Please pray with us that God will sustain the things our students need, just as He did for the Israelites as they wondered in the desert. "I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandal has not worn out on your foot." Deut. 29:5.

I will be going to Ghana in September and I am hoping to bring a good pair of work boots for Ernest as well as a few other things the boys need, such as a used phone for Kojo. If you would be willing to donate either of these items it would be a huge blessing for the boys.

Finally, we will be launching a fundraising campaign in July. Please pray for the Lord to move hearts to give and for us to reach new people and new communities that would partner with us so we can continue to grow and help more young adults in Ghana. We would like to add at least one more student before the end of the year. You can help by sharing these post on your social media! if you are not already a monthly supporter can you commit to $10/month? You can donate right here on our site and even sign-up for auto pay so you will not have to remember every month! Thank you all for your prayers and support of these young men. You are changing their lives and investing in their future as well as their spiritual growth. You are God's provision for them to be able to walk in new boots following their dreams and becoming men of God.
