We are growing!

Thank you all for praying as we went through the application process with our second candidate. We are so excited to announce that we have officially grown the Etwene family! God has been faithful to increase our support and make it clear that Ernest is a good addition to the program. In case any of you noticed, God has a sense of humor! Yes our first 2 students are both named Ernest!! In order to make things easier from here forward our first student, we will refer to as Kojo (his local "day name" which he prefers anyway!) our most resent student will be referred to as Ernest.

Ernest is a hard working, motivated young man that has demonstrated a desire to further not only his educational goals but also strengthen his faith. He graduated from Senior High School and had even begun university when life circumstances became difficult and he was required to withdraw from university and try to find work to sustain himself and help his family. Ernest is interested in becoming an electrician with the hopes of starting in his own company some day. Growing up, he learned about Jesus in school and churches and accepted Jesus at a friends church a few years ago. These past years have been difficult and Ernest has been diligent to do all he can to support himself and stay on the right path in life. He is hopeful that with entering the program at Etwene that he will have the opportunity to grow deeper in his faith and pursue his dream to become an electrician.

Please join us in prayer as Ernest establishes his goals for this quarter and we research what the best school options for him will be. Pray that we can get him well connected with a Bible based church that will give him the opportunities and tools to grow and establish his faith.
